Here's my Ride. '87 Peugeot Cannonball Express.

I pulled the larger Biopace chainrings and replaced them with Sugino Round ones. I also swapped the original Biopace 28 with a 26. All of the Deore components are original first Generation XT.

Originally, the bike came with aluminum stem and handlebars, but was replaced with steel ones once I bent the others. Now it's an all 4130 bike.

It's a bit of a hard ride, but works well on the Jersey roads. (Motto: When you have roads like ours, who needs offroad?)

I need to do a tear-down/rebuild this winter and get rid of some rust and clean it up a bit. I have to look into repainting too. It's been pretty beat up over the years. There are a lot of chips, rubbed areas and some surface rust to deal with but all in all fine condition. I'm looking forward to getting several more years of service out of it.
