Cannondale Fork/Frame Questions

Hi Guys,

I love Cannondale's USA made frames and am looking to put together a custom XC race bike.

If I wanted to put a 110mm Lefty on a frame designed for a 80mm Headshok fork, would this alter the geometry? The answer seems obvious, of course, but I'm curious because of the design of the Lefty fork...Does anyone know the "effective" axel to crown height on a 110mm Lefty and the 80mm Headshok?

If I went with a Cannondale frame like the F1000/4000sl (designed for a Lefty), and I wanted to instead go with a Fox or Rockshox fork, which size would I use...100mm, 120...?

Is it possible to "correct" a 110mm Lefty to match the geometry of a 80mm Headshok (if I bought a non F1000/4000sl frame)? Specifically, I've seen people with 650b custom bikes clamp a 29'er Lefty's tube lower to bring the front end down.

Thanks in advance!
