(I'm just waiting for that same jogger again!)

I encountered about 10 novices climbing that very same fireroad last weekend. They were spread out in a long line so I manouvered to get by each one as I passed their long train. I gave clear voice signals as I went by each rider so that they would not be surprised. However, one novice was struggling thru the challenge and that brief moment of distraction as I uttered "On your left" caught him unprepared and he did a slow speed faceplant.

Rather comical. No one was hurt. Just a bruised ego on a new MTB'r.
