Handling corners, part 2
This week there was one particular corner that stumped me. It was about a 110 degree right turn. Going into the corner, both the inside and the outside lines had decent traction, but the middle was thick mud. Coming out of the corner, the outside was thick mud.
The first few times through this corner, I tried to take the outside line and made the turn easily and with good momentum but got really bogged down in the mud as I exited. The last time through, I tried to take the inside line but it was too tight and I ended up exiting on the outside and getting bogged down anyway. I couldn't even tell you what conditions were like on the inside of the exit. The middle looked better than the muck I was in, but not great.
How would you handle this corner?
