I use it as an every day bike. It is just a perfect machine, as perfect as a bicycle can be. I did not want it glamourous, - too much chrome ... all that stuff.
Just practical and beautiful for those who know. Also, I had long discussions with Olivier Csuka about the Son hub Dynamo: this is the first Singer ever with this equipment. I had to fight for it, - finally, Olivier agreed I was right.
It can be a Randonneuse, a travelling bike, with low-riders in front and without, and it is as fast as a racing bike.
I read a lot of stuff about people discussing these bikes. If You buy one ( or let it be built, that's more correct) to put it on the wall, that's spleen. But if some people think these bikes are not worth the money ( which, at least for this one costs less than a high level Trek Madone ....) they are just lying to themselves.
I ride (vintage steel) racing bikes. The difference seems to be like between a Ferrari and a Bentley.
( I never have driven one of these cars, but I think it is a possible comparation.)
I'll ride it and let You know more in a while. For the moment, I know this is the best bicycle I ever rode. I don't regret a single cent.
