Addictive you say? ? ?
kristonenicolas -
It's time to come clean with you. . . Capecodder, Mkeller, most of the others and I all have the same problem: We're "bike-a-holics" and that's exactly why we hang out in this forum.
You see, just having a slew of old bikes of our own
isn't enough - Instead, we vicariously share in the thrill whenever anyone scores a nice bike. (We were especially thrilled when you got your Grand Sports.)
Capecodder was trying to be forthright, while I, conversely, was happy to hear you say:
"...should be done by this Thursday or maybe sooner.....
I literally can't sleep at night just waiting. "
Yup. Can't sleep in anticipation ... I know the feeling . . Just
knowing that somewhere, someone has a vintage bike for sale for some ridiculously low price keeps me up every night. . . Haven't slept a wink for years - not since this whole C&V thing started.
All kidding aside, we
ALL want you to get the most out of your bike and enjoy it to the max. "Going slow", as Capecodder put it, and educating yourself about the bikes, is one way to ensure that happens.
PS- I'll bet everyone here is looking forward to Thursday as much as you are.

Hot-diggity!
