When I raced clydes, that was the turn I learned to take the outside line on. I stayed left and got good traction in what remaining grass there was. The two times I went inside I ended up in slop I had to pedal my butt of to get out of. the second time, I got off and ran.
the last lap, I went to the outside and passed snuck up on another guy in my race (clydes) He went into it right next to a slow C and couldn't pick his own line.
