Welcome shorthanded. You've got a good rando base up there in Frederick with Bill Smith and the fred. pedalers.
I lead 100 milers with the Balt Biking Club every month and we've had a couple riders come down from Frederick for those.

http://www.bikely.com/maps/bike-path/468931. With some more tweaking, this will hopefully become the November 14th ride. It includes several miles of backwoods unpaved road. Super fun.
