Interesting post. I am 5'9" and have been losing weight since I started cycling seriously about 4 months ago. I have lost about 10 pounds down to 126.4 today, which I am getting a little bit uncomfortable with. My primary confusion is that I don't just want to put on fat-- I just want to be "healthy." I don't really care about looking good. Screw that. I just want to have a nice pulse. I used to lift weights, but I just find that to be so dreadfully boring. Is it necessary? Do I just need to do it? Because I really don't like to. I would like to find a way to be able to just ride my bike and not have to lift weights. But if I've gotta do it, I've gotta do it. My weight is continuing to drop, and in this culture, being a light-weighted man is completely unacceptable. Fat=good, at least here in the South. Everyone tells me I need to eat more (not that I need to lift weights, comically).

Anyhow, I do think I could stand to take more calories in... but more than anything, I am just curious about what exactly healthy is when it comes to weight.
