I've got two. The first is a '86 schwinn prelude that just feels good. I ride this one on long rides and dirt road rides. Spec'ed with '27 that I replaced with 700 wheels give me added room for 35 mm knobbies or 32 mm with fenders. I've replace a lot of the vintage low-mid level componentry with stuff from my parts box and upgraded to 9 speed as well. I am in the middle of a rattle can job right now. The second is a no name aluminum cross frame that i put an old mountain bike bar (with intergrated bar ends) on with bar end shifters, road brake levers and interrupter levers. Bike is ugly. worst drop outs I have ever seen. Makes me want to sell it every time I look at them. Then I ride it and those thoughts fade quickly. Once again, a great fit is the key! I'd post pics, but they are just aren't anything to look at!
