It is quite a versatile rack because the "shelves" can be up, allowing you to lay items out, or down allowing you the room to hang clothes. It can also be folded flat for storage.

In the winter, when it rains just about every day, we put it up in our dining room a couple metres away from the heater to speed the drying process.
