I'm still in the process of cleaning up my 73 Comp and as I sit and look at the dull TA cranks, I wondered how shiny is too shiny? For all my other bikes, I just polished them until I thought they looked good, not caring about being original or maintaining period correctness. With this bike however, I want to keep it correct. The frame is in good shape, no dents, dings etc, with just a few little blemishes that will clean up w/ OA, so it's not going to be a show stopper, just a nice, original rider.


Switching gears.... If I were to take all the components off the Comp and put them on my International (74) would that be a sin? I really like the way the Huret Jubilee d/r looks, so minimalistic
