If you're looking for an attractive, very solid rack that compliments classic looking fenders, I'd second the suggestion to consider Nitto. I use this one:
http://www.rivbike.com/products/show...k-nitto/20-022and I'm very satisfied. It's beautifully done -- better fillets than on most bike frames these days. No rust. Rock solid, even with a decent load. The platform is long enough that you can position bags in many different ways. A plus to the triangulation is that you can usually locate a pannier so that one of the struts prevents it from shifting fore and aft. Very nice.
