I don't get the logic. I mean, I like MOOTS stuff (I have a stem and seatpost), but I like Kent more. He's an awesome person, and the door to his shop is always open. He let me ream my own headtube, and even convinced the guys over at Orange Peel to let me wrench on some bikes in their shop.

Good question. I would go with KE just because I like dealing with the head honcho directly; plus, he is the godfather.
But then again, I went with Steve Hampsten and maestro welder Max (3 years @ Merlin, 8 years welding @ Seven, etc.).
This has nothing to do with logic, I mean look at the quote I posted from Serotta--their Classique is like a "phenomenal bottle of surprisingly affordable wine...simple, yet mysteriously complex". Plus, "it lasts forever"
