OK, I'll be the outsider, the oddball, the antagonist. I like dull! I remember going to the bike shop, back in the day, and staring at the Colnago and the Eisentraut, and the Jack Taylor and thinking, "wow that is so cool all the parts have a dull sheen to them and look so cool". Cool was the big word back then. The shiny bikes were the cheap ones outfitted with steel parts. I dig the dull look, its cool, and I think its French.
