The Cyclone 1st gen RD, FD, and shift levers are anodized, they have just been well cleaned, they're pretty much as they left the factory though

Thanks to you both! It got the downtube shifters (yes, a departure from stock), FD and pedals tonight. The band-on Suntour shifters are a royal pain but Scott Ryder passed me a trick that worked well AND kept the frame from getting scratched.
