I have no big hills on my commute. It is a rail trail so the grades are still set by rail standards. In fact, the coalition of volunteers who look out for the trail joke about the two overpasses that actually have a steeper grade as our only hills. Due to a happy accident of topography almost my entire inbound commute is downhill or flat, so I can arrive not terribly sweaty. The ride home is like one long resistance workout. About 8 miles are a slow uphill with about 2 miles that has a slightly steeper grade. Not any major challenge, just a long resistance workout for the legs. So I can make no claims to great achievement, but it is nice to be getting faster and doing it all more easily.
