I've been asking questions and paying attention here. You guys suggested Marathon tires to road my GT Xizang mountain bike. I put on a pair of 26x1.5" Marathon Plus about a month ago, and have ridden them on everything from smooth concrete (try airport runways) to dirt and gravel on a long Rails To Trails in Nebraska, to brick streets in an old midwestern town. I love the handling, the grip, and the ease in peddling. And I still can't wear off that little raphe down the center of the tread! These suckers are going to be the best tires I've had on a bike since I started riding back in 1954. And that was a mile or two ago!
