Bikes: 06 KHS flite 300 00 Cannondale F1000

Spend alot of time on my bike, advice on fit would be awesome!

Hey all, new to the forums and road biking, I just moved to a city setting that is not as conducive to my love for mountain and trail riding.

I parked my Cannondale F1000, oldie but a goodie, and bought an entry level road bike. A 2006 KHS flite 300, I knew I would do alot of damage to my new ride while breaking all my MTB habits.

So far loving the bike the way it moves and performs. I did my research and bought a 56cm frame as I am 5foot 9inches and I like the fit.

What do I need to know about where to keep my handlebars, and my seat for road biking. Also what are a few things I can upgrade to lighten this bike up, it is as heavy as my MTB it seems.

Thanks for any help you can offer!
