definitely much cooler this morning (probably high 30s or low 40s - on the archaic Fahrenheit scale). I stuck with shorts, but I layered up with a long sleeved base layer between my short sleeved technical T light wind layer. I almost stopped and pulled the wind pants out, but decided to stick it out, and by the beginning of mile 3 I was doing okay. I think I'm glad I did, though I'll be looking closely at the temp for the ride home.

Actually, by mile 7 or 8 I considered stopping to remove the wind layer, but again, I demurred. Overall I was okay, though my feet were a bit chilly. I think I need to look at warmer sock options.
