wow that was chilly this morning. I was fairly bundled up plus I had offered to bring in breakfast for colleagues. So I had both baskets full of food plus my clothes in a bag over my shoulder...not doing that again. On the way back today I encountered, for the third time in my short bike commute career, national Park Police motorcycles motoring down the sidewalks around the Mall. Not cool imho...one time was very early, in the dark, and he came up from behind and scared the hell out of me.
