Not on that model. Likely non-US, about 1982. Almost identical to the Shoguns of the same era. US-marketed models had different fonts and badges, for the most part. Remember though, it was 1982; things weren't as specific as today. They built, shipped, sold, often well after the catalogs were produced and distributed. Actual year models were usually behind the catalogs, and often quite different.
Still a great SS conversion, but with friction still holding it's own, not a bad bike at all to fix up...
I wasnt thinking about converting it to a SS. I was thinking about fixing the shifter so it shifts smooth and use it as a road bike like it was developed for.
