When Dura-Ace 8-spd came out in the late '80s, I got a couple of wheels with 130mm spacing. All my bikes were 126mm at the time. Two were aluminium, a Nishiki Altron 7000 and Peugeot Comete. No problem installing as the Dura-Ace rear-hub had conical locknuts that help spread the dropouts as you pull the wheel in. Rode both of those bikes for 5 more years and never had a problem with the 126mm rear-end spread out to 130mm. Although the Peugeot Comete did end up pulling the downtube out of the head-tube lug, but that's a manufacturing/design issue rather than anything related to the 130mm hub.
