Have you ridden with a flywheel? I haven't, but my guess is that it feels a lot more like riding on the road as far as pedal stroke is concerned. Maybe it's not actually big and heavy enough to have the desired effect though?
not enough weight to be a reasonable value proposition. The weight helps a bit with extended rolldown, but for the extra money it doesn't seem to hardly anything.
Even were I to be throwing money around at making the trainer much nicer, I wouldn't buy it.
I think they have the right idea, it just isn't enough mass.
