Thanks! You're kind to call it "guts".

I've made that downhill run 86 times now so I don't even think about it. My bike actually feels pretty solid going downhill (it's a 6 year old GF Hoo Koo E Koo MTB). I've worn the knobs on the tires down far enough that they don't sound much like a hornet's nest anymore, so it's a pretty smooth ride, and easy to control.

Usually I hit up in the high 40's, and hit 50 once and I had to stop at the red light at the bottom of the hill. Today I only hit 40 with a serious headwind - doesn't sound like it but I was extra cautious on that one.
