You are confusing swing with pull, both of these dérailleurs are dual pull (I think all the current M and T dérailleurs are). Both of these will work equally well, your consideration should be based on where you want the clamp to be. I chose top swing to avoid interference with my water bottles but ended up having a harder time installing my kickstand.
