I retrieved effective cycling from the library today. What a disappointment! The stuff teaching beginners how to ride was interesting, but almost everything on traffic and safety was common sense. what wasn't common sense but was in there is constantly being pushed on these forums. i think if you frequent this place you wouldn't get much out of the book
