Sad thing is, if I tried to sell it, I probably couldn't get over $1000 for it, but selling it ain't going to happen.
My CAAD is at the $3K mark right now.
I have another $1500. to drop in it.
(fork, wheelset, post, pedals, brakes)
BUT! If I chose a similar caliber al or plastic frame,
I'd easily be closer to the $6,000. range once done.
I can take everything on my CAAD right now and transfer
it to a top quality full carbon uber bike and it'll all fit in nicely.
I already dropped the price on my original CAAD purchase from $750. to $550.
by selling off my shifters, derailleurs, chain, cassette and crankset.
And I STILL have my OEM brakeset, wheelset & post
(practically gave away the bar/stem).
