Thanks to all of you for the kind words. It is yet another example of having found a very nice canvas to start with. I'm quite proud of it and, honestly, I still do a little double take every time I see it. Comments below...

Yeah, the bell location is still up in the air. It's not too bad...just reach forward a tad and flip the lever. The reason the bell is there is that I was in one of the local campus fixie-oriented shops getting the bar tape and I passed by a rack of bells...and this copper color one spoke to me. Matches the copper rivets in the saddle

When I get some proper pics outside like the last three, now that it's complete, I'll shoot you a few links. Flash just kills all the detail and really doesn't do a lot to show the condition of the paint as do the natural light shots.

Well, I thought that might be an issue, and it is if I'm barefoot, on carpet. Outside on hard ground, with shoes it is ok. Everything is a tad "familiar" but not so much so I feel awkward on it. I had to get the frame from St. Louis...things like this don't show up here either.
