-7C for the ride in, and +10C with a tail wind for the ride home which of course made me have to ride fast. I wish I had packed my shorts. I'm going to miss the afternoon rides home where I can wear just a baselayer shirt and no balaclava.

I just passed 3000km of biking for the year, 2040 of that was commuting (avoiding 2732km of car driving). I've got 1300km on my new touring bike and the rear v-brake pads are worn out already, and I thought the front provided most of the braking power.
