Call the "real" cops and let them know that someone is screwing around with a weapon on campus of some sort.
The "real" cops wouldn't have jurisdiction on a campus if there is a college police department.
There are some very powerful laxer pointers available. My son has one that easily can be seen two hundred yards at night.
