This happens on a regular basis with me, and most of the time, the motorist doesn't care. I had an incident a couple of months ago with a motorist a block from his home, just a couple of weeks ago, the same motorist yelled "**** you" at me while he was standing out in front of his home as I passed by it.
There must be something with motorists driving red pickups, I had a serious incident a year ago with motorist driving one, he unloaded a long barrage of insults, profanity, and horn blowing while I was waiting at an intersection.
Your "neighbor" sounds like a good candidate for writing something obscene in his lawn with a can of gas. He will be able to read it a day or two later when his grass dies.
