So, how do you like the Fuji? I'm looking at one, but keep seeing some bad press about the bikes being made in China and Taiwan, not Japan. Do you think this compromises the quality of the bike? I have ridden a Fuji Team for the past year and it is a great bike. As other posts have indicated, I just got my BMC this weekend and the difference is noticable. Yes, the BMC is lighter and the gruppo is better than the Ultegra/105 mix on the Fuji, but most important of all, it has made me realize how twitchy my Fuji is. The BMC feels much more connected to the road and tracks through the line much better than my Fuji. All that said, I think my Fuji Team is a great buy, especially at it's price point. My fitter shared that Fuji has lengthened the head tube on the '11s. This may be to improve handling. I'm not that suave to understand the dynamics though.
