There is nothing 'wrong' with wanting such signalling systems on a bike. I am very happy with mine and people behind appreciate the brake signals etc. However, I quickly learned the market offers next to nothing due to the cost. There just isn't a big enough market for a proper signalling system that costs hundreds of dollars. Something reliable and bright enough to be useful will be expensive and will be a custom build.
