Here are some stats.
It was emotionally draining. Start getting cramps around mile 40 and by mile 70 I had to walk the bike a few hundred yards to try and walk off the cramps (I was going up a hill and couldnt go further) Had back spasms shortly there after (had back surgery two weeks ago) so I was a wreck crossing the line. Had two major climbs (for us floridians they are major climbs) one was 10% grade up to 240' covering about a tenth of a mile. The other was 14% grade up to 333' dont know who far it was. Next time I need to do a better hydration/nutrition plan. It was cold so I was not consuming enough fluids. Ate some banannas and cliff energy blocks, powerbar energy chews, trail mix. Was afraid to eat some of the powerbars they provided for fear they would mess with my stomach, they also had pb&j roll ups that just looked ugly. Started ride at 34 degrees. Stayed with a group for the first 20 or so miles then had a flat, had to change it, then pretty much rode the rest by myself, except for catching up with people...and people behind me catching up...meeting at the rest stops.
Anyway...I accomplished another goal in life...rode in honor of my uncle and a coworker who lost their lives to cancer.

Congrats, I just did my first century this weekend as well. Good times. Those calorie numbers seem heavily inflated though, don't take them as 100% accurate. Now it's time to prepare for/do another!
