When I had a Giant Halfway, I was able to roll it while folded in a similar fashion as the Curve video. The main problem for me is that in order to make it comfortable to roll in this manner, I had to extend the seat out... or use the handlebars instead for navigation. I used my Giant Halfway for several months... and I got quite good at rolling it. And as long as you use a velcro strap or bungie to keep the bike together it does work pretty well. I'm sure that the magnet on the Dahons might even remove the need for velcro/bungie.
That said, I see many non-Tikit owners complain that the rolling feels awkward to them after testing it in a store. If you own a Tikit, you learn how to best roll it in a day... after that it's pretty easy to cruise around with it. I've tested it in crowded subway platforms, train stations, and the busy Chicago streets. I've also gone grocery shopping with it... just like the video I posted.
In both cases that I have experience with, The Giant Halfway and the BF Tikit, if you roll it for an extended period of time, your arm gets tired. There is no way around this that I have been able to find... other than to ride the bike... or roll it while unfolded.
