Congrats on the century. The garmins are highly inaccurate on the calorie computation so don't rely on them too much. I'm not sure on the models but some have calorie computation with heart rate factored and some don't. For instance the Edge 500 does, when I wear my heart rate monitor the calorie numbers are close to half what they would be with out the heart rate monitor. I highly doubt you burned 7,058 my guess would be more like 3,500 - 4,500. Not to take anything away from what you did, on the bright side theres about 3500 calories in a pound of fat so you knocked at least that off.

I just looked at my last 100 mile ride and with the heart rate monitor It claims I burned 2800, total ellapsed time was 5 hours 30 minutes.

I have the edge 305. I guess your statement must be true.. I looked at the data from MPress and he rode the Metric and it says he burned 4710. All I know is I felt skinnier when I finished
