Well, there's "gay", and then there's "parade gay" bouncing around in the current H.S. vernacular (or at least so my daughter informs me). Sure, I'm gay...... in the Dean Martin use of the word, anyway.

I'm not trying to be an ass, it is just that I remember a thread that was going along quite nicely, and then someone said something pretty innocent that got mis-interpreted as an anti-*****exual slur. It only took one jack-ass to get offended, and the whole thing melted down PDQ.

There are lots of folks out there that are looking to get offended, and C&V is pretty much the last decent forum to hang out in.

On second thought - sorry I said anything. Carry on - let's see what happens.
