Bikes: old ones

Joe: I'm glad this went to you. I'm the guy that bought your '84 Paramount
not that long ago, and I feel like I owe you for that one. I called on this about
5 minutes after you did, and I was quite ready to drive up to Mt Aukum.
I have enough experience with crappy Peugeots (having owned several when
young and poor) and a couple of other French bikes (most notably a Stella
that I still enjoy) that I can probably help you out if you get mechanically baffled
in your project. Velo orange makes a French thread sealed BB unit that is priced
pretty reasonably, if you want to go that route.

I work most Saturdays here in Sacramento at the Bicycle Kitchen, or you can e-mail me.

Again, thanks for that Paramount. Nicest bike I've ever owned.

Regards,
Mike Larmer
