Well I have two GoPro HDs now so I can get crazy with multiple mounting points...more footage next year! Anyway, I'll let you know when I get the Canmore chest cam vid up (with sound) to see what you think. On a couple of the earlier runs, I had the straps too long and the camera was lower on my body (i.e., pointing down too much)...but I added some of that into the vid because it was interesting watching the bike move around on some of the trail.
And I know what you mean about showing scale and perspective. I also put a mount on the front valence of the car so it's really low to the ground (camera is maybe 4 inches off the ground) and looks kinda neat. Only problem is there's no reference to get an idea of how fast you're moving. I think I'll add another mount to the driver's mirror to capture part of the hood, etc. Should make blasting through the twisties near my place look a little more exciting. Ahhh, not that I am going any faster than the speed limit...
