Stingray Fastback wheel question

This is rather embarrassing. I picked up a couple of cool Schwinns last night including this '68 Fastback Ram's Horn. Problem is...

It has a set of what are definitely original Stingray 20" wheels. However, all the Fastbacks I've ever seen have 24" wheels. This thing has long-reach Weinmann sidepulls, which, as you can see in the picture, can reach 20" wheels at the lowest point the pads can go. But there's a lot of travel there, and I held a 24" wheel up to the bike, and it looks like it would fit fine, with the pads at the top of their range.

So--and I know this is primarily a vintage road board--I'm hoping someone can tell me: Is there such a thing as a 20" Ram's Horn Fastback? And was it made in '68? (I'm going by the seller's word, and http://www.angelfire.com/rant/allday...innCodes3.html here...the serial starts with ED)

Thanks!
