Dura ace are unsealed, which means repacking them more often if you're going to gnarly conditions. Formulas are industry standard, my bike is 3 years old on formulas running strong. They're sealed bearings, good quality and bomb proof. From what I understand Velocity Deep V's tend to be good at handling a beating just a bit heavy.
