My dad gave me his Teledyne Titan with full Campy components and keeps telling me I should ride it. I can't do it - I don't want to wreck, break it or scratch it. So it just hangs on the wall in my office - and it doesn't bother me at all.

I have a harder time getting rid of bikes so if I think I'll ride the bike just a few times a year it's a good enough excuse in my brain to hang onto it.
