Bittersweet, always is.....most every jug can remember a cold night hunkered down in God Knows Where, so busy or tired or cold or nervous or on edge you don't realize what day it is, ...and some leathery old Sgt or seasoned Bird shows up out of thin air to say "Happy Birthday, Leatherneck...."...and you are reborn.

To put it in perspective, USMC 3/5, "The Darkhorses" lost 9 this week. We feel each and every one. And we have for 235 years.
