I could lay my data plot over the faster guys and I'd be just as if not quicker every where on the track except T-9, I just couldnt trust myself enough to do what everyone else was doing there..which was basically being flat from T-5 to T-1. I was competitive at just about every track we showed up at except there. The one time I raced M/C's was at Willow...what the fast guys did through T-9 told me I wasn't cut out to race M/C's..I have far to many self preservation genes.
The last time I had an Atlantic there it was a light brush on the brake for T1 (125 min speed), then flat to T3. T5->T1 was flat. We were in the low 11's. Case Montgomery had the 'record' at a high 10, but it was complete crap. They never really went that fast. The place was just so fast that it ceased being any good for testing. You would just trim the car and hope the guy never fired it off the track. Kind of a stupid contest.
