Most of the Bianchi's you see for sale in the States are the nice but mediocre 1980's mid level race frames. The top Reparto race frames from the early 80's used for the Super Corsa and Super Leggera models are fantastic, but they are true race frames and may not be what the OP is after. The really magic, all around, "best bike I ever rode" kind of Bianchi's are the 1960's Specialissima's. Much harder to find than the 80's models, especially in smaller sizes, and they did not import them to the States in Celeste. But for true Bianchi style and real world rideability it's hard to find a better combination.
+1 The Specialissima is the choice of those with a refined taste.
My friend has a 'root beer' colored frame in my size hanging in his apartment, but he refuses to sell it. He bought it several years back with an eclectic build for $100!
