Have a lad at work that commutes 5 miles into work Everyday. Doesn't matter what the weather and he will be travelling by bike. I know its only 5 miles and he is young but I do pity him some mornings as I drive past him in the car and it is pouring down with rain and I can see him struggling into the headwind.

But if he kept his bike cleaner- I might offer him a lift on those bad days- but I don't want to risk him soaking the passenger seat with the amount of mud up his back. (No mudguards)

And I know he enjoys cycling.
