I've been riding the same bike that I started on in 2007. If it were economically feasible, I'd be riding something nicer. Originally, I decided I'd ride this bike for 3 years and then upgrade to something in the $2000-2500 range. Long story short, lost my gig and still riding the same bike. I'd like to be on something lighter and nicer, but the reality is that what I have isn't holding me back any. Of course, if you can afford something nicer and you want something nicer, then why not get what you want?
