I actually had to dremel a bit off my FD clamp to get the conti 25s to clear.
My situation in unique tho:
-I ride a compact-ish steel (Salsa La Raza) with fairly short chainstays, so there's little clearance between tire and FD clamp
-aftermarket braze-on adapter clamp is a bit thicker than Campy clamp.
-and as stated, the conti's are "tall"
They do seem a bit more sluggish to spin up to speed vs 23, but the ride sure is nice at around 95psi.
When I first saw my Coni GP4KS's on my bike, I thought that the LBS mounted 25's instead of
23's because they seemed so much more robust than the Maxxis Categories I had replaced.
They do seem to have a taller profile. I can't say it enough that the ride was an incredible improvement.
