It went very well. The thing is a rocket on the flats, and it's not bad at climbing hills either. I must have been really off yesterday, but today, climbing was a breeze =)
I'd be curious in any other thoughts you have about it. I'm about to buy one myself (actually on hold) and I've had concerns about it being too aggressive for a middle age guy in not the best of shape. I rode several bikes and the caad was by far the most fun. Quick and nimble. It wants to take corners faster than I feel comfortable doing them and just begs me to stand and sprint. Going from the hybrid, do you feel too stretched or anything? Or are you in good shape so no real issue? What sort of hills have you ridden? I find I'm running out of gears on the compact, but I'm hoping I can just htfu and it will be the perfect bike. Thanks.
